About the Role

As the General Manager, you will lead and direct the Residential Aged Care (RAC) arm of the business ensuring delivery meets the needs of residents. You will oversee the compliance with relevant legislative and accreditation requirements and meet budget targets. You will develop a person-centred approach and optimise residential aged care facility operations. You will also develop relationship with the external stakeholders to promote the profile of Bolton Clarke with key introducers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leads the Residential Aged Care (RAC) arm by developing a person-centred approach to service planning and fostering a culture reflective of Bolton Clarke values.
  • Leads a team of service managers and ensures they develop and implement appropriate plans which effectively support and contribute to the achievement of organisation’s goals.
  • Leads the development of policies and procedures to maximise person centred safe quality outcomes in the clinical and non-clinical environment specific to the service model.
  • Researches and develops strategic new models for maximising occupancy including respite and other short-term stays. Optimises residential aged care facility operations and ensures delivery meets the needs of the residents.

About You

To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred; Business Administration, Management, Nursing or a Health-related field, Operations is preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
  • Significant experience in Operations with moderate experience in a managerial role in leading business change initiatives preferred.
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration is prescribed.
  • Proficient in Business Operations Management, Operations Strategy, Compliance Management and Budget Management skills.
  • Excellent Talent Management, Vision Development, Problem Solving and Financial Management skills.
